Getting to Block Island can require planes, trains, cars and boats but once here, The National Hotel offers the perfect location. Situated on the main street of the town in the heart of the Old Harbor District, the National is directly across the street from the Pt. Judith, RI and New London, CT ferries. It is walking distance to the shops, restaurants and beaches. There are bike and moped rentals around the corner and taxis available for island tours or trips to other areas of the island.
